Wendy Gardiner has been influential in the sewing industry for many years and is an internationally accredited sewing guru. She wrote The Great British Sewing Bee, From Style to Stitch which accompanied the fourth series of the show. She has successfully worked as a freelance writer, teacher and author all her working life, during which time she has held the role of editor of several leading sewing magazines as well as having written 23 books, presented 11 DVDs, and is a Craftsy.com tutor. She has been Brand Ambassador for the major commercial pattern companies, a presenter on Create & Craft TV and on Sewing Street TV.

Wendy passionately believes in passing on sewing skills and knowledge so that more people can make their own fashion and furnishings and realise it’s a pastime that can be fast, fun, fashionable and affordable.
