Designed for crocheters who are already comfortable working with Tunisian crochet, this retreat offers the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and explore new techniques. During the weekend we will delve into the beautiful art of Tunisian mosaic crochet and discover how to work Tunisian crochet in the round. We will also introduce stranded colourwork, opening up exciting possibilities for adding colour and pattern to your projects. Together, we will create a practical and stylish bag, designed to help you build confidence and expand your Tunisian crochet repertoire. Whether you are looking to refine your technique or simply enjoy a creative weekend away, this retreat promises plenty of learning, inspiration, and time to unwind with your crochet.

Skill Level: This workshop is designed for those with intermediate Tunisian crochet skills. Participants should already be comfortable working specifically with Tunisian crochet techniques.
What to Bring: Tapestry needle, stitch marker, scissors.
Check in to your room from 3pm. Get to know your expert, Retreat Manager and fellow crafters over dinner this evening.

Tour Notes: Although there are no mobility requirements for this tour, please note that you will need to be able to make your own way between our workshop room, your bedroom and the restaurant, which could involve walks of up to 5 minutes. If you require full disabled access, please check with us before booking.

Blunsdon House Hotel
Set in 30 acres of beautiful countryside, the 4-star Blunsdon House Hotel is situated in the village of Broad Blunsdon. All the individually decorated bedrooms have flat-screen televisions, a safety deposit box, telephone, hairdryer and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There are two restaurants and three bars to relax in and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Alternatively, guests can take a swim in the indoor heated swimming pool (charge applies) or enjoy a walk around the beautiful hotel grounds.

Blunsdon House Hotel is located in the village of Broad Blunsdon, approximately 5 miles from Swindon railway station. If you are travelling by car the hotel is a 25 minute drive from junction 15 of the M4 or 40 minutes drive from junction 11a of the M5. Ample car parking on site free of charge. There are also 4 EV Charging points.
Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club
