Immerse yourself in a creative weekend of mosaic knitting and crochet in a relaxed and supportive setting. Anna will guide you through the vibrant art of mosaic crochet, exploring both Overlay and Inset mosaic techniques, while Frederica will introduce the striking possibilities of mosaic knitting and the beautifully textured fabrics it creates. One of the most exciting aspects of mosaic work is the versatility of the charts and patterns, which can be used interchangeably for both knitting and crochet. Enjoy a weekend filled with inspiration, creativity, and hands-on learning as you explore these beautifully textured techniques.

Itinerary

Workshop Information: Across the weekend, you will have one day on mosaic crochet with Anna and one day on mosaic knitting with Frederica.
Skill Level: You will need to have a good grasp of the basics in both knitting and crochetRequirements List: 4mm knitting needles, 4mm crochet hook, sewing needle, darning needle.
Make your own way to the hotel and check in to your room from 3pm. Get to know your expert, Retreat Manager and fellow crafters over dinner this evening.

You will be split into two groups. Group 1 will do a mosaic knitting workshop with Frederica , and Group 2 will do a mosaic crochet workshop with Anna.

Tour Notes: Although there are no mobility requirements for this tour, please note that you will need to be able to make your own way between our workshop room, your bedroom and the restaurant, which could involve walks of up to 5 minutes. If you require full disabled access, please check with us before booking.
