Skill level: Suitable for participants who are comfortable with holding the yarn and hook and know how to work basic crochet stitches.
Techniques covered: Cuff and leg, heel flap construction and heel turn, gusset, foot and toe decreases.
What to bring: 3mm crochet hook, 3 lockable stitch markets in different colours, tapestry needle and scissors.
Check in to your room from 3pm. Get to know your expert, retreat manager and fellow crafters over dinner this evening.

We will start our top-down socks today, focusing on the cuff, leg, heel flap construction and heel turn. We will take a break for tea/coffee in the morning and afternoon, and for lunch and enjoy dinner together in the hotel this evening.

Tour Notes: Although there are no mobility requirements for this tour, please note that you will need to be able to make your own way between our workshop room, your bedroom and the restaurant, which could involve walks of up to 5 minutes. If you require full disabled access, please check with us before booking.
